This system controls 1x Electronic Engine and 1x Mechanical Gearbox. It connects via CANBus to 2x Flexball 4500 Single Throttle Station.

Introducing the Flexball 4500-EM12 throttle controls—designed and built in Italy for exceptional quality. These controls are not only easy to install but also have a sturdy and reliable build, ensuring longevity. They are designed to seamlessly integrate with any mechanical engine featuring an electrical gearbox. Experience precision and durability like never before with Flexball.

The Flexball EM system is ideal for newer electronic engines paired with older mechanical actuated gearboxes. It works seamlessly with any make and model of electronic engine, supporting various throttle inputs.

The system includes one mechanical lever mounted on the actuator box, designed for smooth and reliable actuation of a push/pull style mechanical cable connecting to the gearbox. The EM actuator box can be mounted in the engine room, allowing for up to 5m of mechanical push/pull cable to connect to the gearbox actuator.

Gearbox control is managed through a mechanical actuator on the side of the Actuator box, where a short mechanical morse cable is connected which then connects to the actuator on the gearbox (Note: Morse Cable not included in the package). All mechanical control solutions have a “release” pin to allow for manual override at the actuator box in the event of an emergency, which is an excellent safety feature.
